My name is Mikaylah

Whether soaring through the English countryside on a broomstick, gripping the edge of my seat during epic on-screen battles, or laughing until I cried at a 30-second beer ad that immediately changed my drink order—stories have always moved me. They connect us, inspire action, and invite us into something bigger than ourselves.

After a brief side quest into fashion design (what little girl doesn’t dream of that?!) and accidentally landing in a Graphic Design class in high school, I realized that I wanted to play a part in telling stories like the ones I loved.

During my undergraduate years at Pratt Institute, pursuing a degree in Communications Graphic Design, I found my passion in crafting visually compelling narratives that didn’t just look pretty, but sparked an emotional response. While I was honing my creative eye and technical skills, the world was rapidly changing, and the way I was consuming stories started shifting drastically with the evolution of social media.

I began to see how every post, every interaction, and every campaign was an opportunity to connect with people on a deeper level. It was no longer just about beautiful photography and smart design; it was about engagement, conversation, and the impact that building a community could have on a brand’s growth. This evolution in the digital landscape took me from focusing solely on graphic design to holistic brand strategy.

Today, with over seven years of experience across various service, lifestyle, and consumer brands, I’ve honed the art of combining creative design with data-backed strategies to help brands tell their stories in a meaningful way. Whether it's through crafting an engaging social media campaign or re-writing the playbook for brand strategies, my goal is always the same: to create something that resonates, builds trust, and drives lasting results. Storytelling has always been part of me, and I am passionate about helping others share theirs.
